The goal of this online course is to effectively provide pertinent information about Dengue, Chikungunya and Zika for the physician. It will be a guide to recognize these three diseases in a timely manner. Guidelines will be provided on how to clinically diagnose them and also how to confirm the diagnosis by laboratory methods. The proper patient assessment will be discussed and since these three viral illness can have similarities in clinical presentation, emphasis on differential diagnosis will be done. Appropriate management strategies for all three illnesses will be presented.

Target audience:
The target audience are physicians, including physicians in training . Physicians living in Puerto Rico or other areas were these Arboviral diseases are present, will benefit from this course. This course satisfies the requirements of the Puerto Rico Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline ( JLDM) (Junta Licenciamiento y Disciplina Médica) of the Department of Health of Puerto Rico. The 2 credit requirement for medical license renewal is: Diagnosis and Management of Dengue, Chikungunya and Zika.
